Meet Our Team
Gerald L. Kuhn, Sr. - Chairman of the Board
Gerald (“Jerry”) graduated from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois, with a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in accounting. He obtained his CPA license in Indiana, and then in Illinois. Jerry had 8 years of accounting experience before starting the firm in 1976.
Kathleen J. Kuhn - Partner
Kathleen (“Kathy”) graduated from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois, with a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in accounting. She obtained her CPA license in Illinois. Kathy had 7 years of experience before joining with Jerry to start the firm in 1976.
Lee T. Swinger – Senior Manager
Lee graduated from Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois, with a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in accounting and minoring in business administration. He obtained his CPA license in Illinois. Lee had 2 years of experience prior to joining the firm in 1987.
Brett A. Kuhn – Senior Accountant
Brett graduated from Purdue Global, an extension of Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN, with a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in accounting. Brett became an Enrolled Agent through the IRS, allowing him to represent taxpayers before the IRS. He has been employed with the firm since 2004.
Gerald L. Kuhn, Jr. – Staff Accountant
Gerald (Jerry) graduated from the University of Tampa in Tampa, Florida, with a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in marketing. He then graduated from the University of Illinois at Springfield, Illinois with a Masters Degree in Business Administration. Jerry began with the firm in 2004.
Joshua Eyer – Senior Staff Accountant
Joshua (Josh) graduated from Illinois College with a Bachelor’s degree, majoring in Business Administration. Josh had 16 years in the accounting field before joining our firm in 2023. Josh also became an Enrolled Agent through the IRS, allowing him to represent taxpayers before the IRS.
Jessica Ellis – Administrative Professional
Jessica joined our firm in 2013. Her proficiency and dedication helps our clients’ needs to be met efficiently. Jessica’s friendly demeanor and sharp organizational skills make her the go-to person in the firm to keep the office running smoothly and efficiently.
